|Membership of the IWCI|
Members of the The Irish Wolfhound Club of Ireland (IWCI) receive Newsletters on an occasional basis, notices as they are available, and a club magazine each year. The IWCI is based in Dublin, Ireland and presents a championship show each summer, an open show near Christmas, together with meets, lectures and other canine orientated events.
Members of the IWCI have the right to nominate and vote for the officers of the club and to take a full part in Annual and Extraordinary meetings.Having found a proposer and seconder ( who must be current members of the IWCI ) and with the past or present ownership of an Irish Wolfhound you may apply to join the club as an Associate Member. This entitles you to full participation in the club except for voting at the AGM, nominating members to serve on the committee, or being an officer of the club. After two years as an Associate Member you may apply in writing to the club requesting to become a full member; thereafter you have full voting and nominating rights.
or by sending a local currency or Euro cheque with a postal application.Once your application has been accepted by the committee you will receive a password for the members area of the website together with any notices and newsletters which are current.
The more people who are involved with understanding, promoting and caring for the Irish Wolfhound the more likely it is that the breed will survive and even thrive.I hope that you will join us.
For those who cannot handle 'Word' documents the membership forms are available as pdfs for printing out and posting:
